What is wrong with my bike and how do I fix it?

I was riding my bike and then I had to come to a stop so I stomped the back brake then the whole bike locked up and slid sideways and shut off. Since then the kicker has been completely locked up and the rear wheel would not move. What has happened and how do I fix it?
