I have a court case tomorrow. So confused on what I have to do?

If you need a public defender you typically pay $20 like the week before the court date and he/she looks over your case for like 2 minutes and doesn't do jack for you. But since we live in awesome America you have the right to a public defender and the judge is going to assign one to you right there and then and they are going to proceed with the hearing. Basically you just saved $20. There will be a hand full of public defenders in the court room. It ain't no thing. Do PTI if you care about your record, you really don't need council for that
